In-kennel training is like sending your pet to dog camp.

In-kennel basic training is where your dog stays in a dog kennel and is taken out every day to be trained in the basic obedience commands. This is like going to camp to learn basic leash skills and manners. Going to camp is a growing and learning experience for your furry friend just as it would be for a child. Like the Home-Stay training program, there will be many field trips into the community to test your pet's training and skills around distractions.

In-kennel training is great for people who can't leash train their dogs at home, either because of time or physical limitations. If your dog is in needs of a training vacation, enroll him/her in our in-kennel canine camp.

To insure that your canine camper will respond to you, a behavior associate will teach you how to work your pet and how to maintain your best friend's good behavior. In addition to this, you will receive tips to improve your canine pal's house manners and problem-solving consultations.

All pets entering the In-kennel program must be current on all their shots -- DHLP, Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies. A certificate or photocopy is required for Rabies.

Each of the trainer / consultants in our network is personally selected and trained by me, Andrew Ledford the founder of Concepts In Dog Behavior®. The local service area is up to 30 miles from Knott's Berry Farm. There is a small travel charge for In-Home training done outside the local area.

There will be an additional charge of $35 a day for feeding raw meat foods

For those who live far outside the local (Southern California) area we can sometimes, make special arrangements. This could be within California, such as Palm Springs, or it could be as far away as another country.
